Like and/or Thanks button.
I mentioned this some time ago and got little response. So, being a stubborn old coot, I decided to try again. This forum needs a thanks or like button on each post, so readers can express their appreciation for that post. There are are many times that I find a particular post useful and/or helpful. As it is, I have to make a whole new post, often quoting the original post, to express my appreciation. That causes a lot of clutter. I know I personally like to know if someone finds my post useful. It affects what I am apt to post in the future. I know this capability exists with this forum's software, because I have seen it on many other forums running this same software. Feel free to tell me this is a stupid idea, I have a thick shell. Maybe we also need a "stupid" button.

We can certainly chase some rabbits and wind up in weird holes. I saw a wiring diagram that looked interesting so clicked on the link and they are about ten posts talking about how bad Road are???? Some spoke of campfire conversations earlier so I guess that's who we are.

It allows users to recognize when others appreciate what they post. Therefor in my opinion those who post worthwhile things are more likely to keep on doing it. Just what I think. No research went into it.
