New and looking for advice.

Good afternoon.
I am new to Thor and to Class A pusher coaches in general.
I am looking at possibly picking up a 2018 Thor Aria 3401 and looking for any advice or comments in regards to this particular unit.
Are there particular items that I should look for or pay attention to when looking that this unit?
I see there have been some issues with the refrigerator pulling out but looking for other items that may be troubling to some.
Over all is this a good unit or 👎?
Appreciate any and all advice, thoughts, notes etc.

I don't believe the rig you're looking at, has any particular problem areas.
It all comes down to lots of due diligence, and a very careful inspection.

And again.... Do a COMPLETE & THROUGH INSPECTION !!!!

Then If You can..Spend SEVERAL DAYS in their parking lot to Test test TEST EVERY SYSTEM before leaving!!!

The biggest item I can think of to check is the storage bay floors. If they have been wet in the past they may be weak, sagging or even rotted out. They most common source of the water entry was along the frame rails where they run through the bays. Many of the coaches did not have sealant in that area from the factory. Easy fix with a can of expanding foam if the damage has not been done. We love our 18 Aria and it has been trouble free since a few bugs were taken care of in the first year.
The fridge in our unit has not tried to escape. I did pull it out to service the ice maker, and the fridge seems to be quite securely installed.

Welcome to the forum. Look at the batteries, tires and engine area for anything that looks out of place or leaking. Enjoy the new ride as much as possible.

We’ve had our ‘19 Aria 3601 since September and love the design, materials and floor plan. What we don’t love is that it’s spent more time in a service bay than in a campsite. Most of the issues are probably “one-off”, and not indicative of an overall issue with the Aria line, but they are very frustrating. We are lucky that we have a very accommodating dealership for the warranty repairs, a great service advisor there and the fact that we can leave the coach (and even stay in it) while it awaits parts. That said, check and double-check everything you can on the coach for proper operation. All the way to making sure the windows open and close correctly to putting water in the fresh tank and running it through all the faucets and shower (hot & cold) to be sure there are no leaks and that the water heater works. Hire a reputable local inspector in the area where your coach is located, (you should be able to find one using google, and look at their reviews there too) and take what they tell you as gospel, as they are being paid by you to find issues with the RV, not by the seller to sugar-coat issues. Lastly, as was said before, if you decide to buy, shake it down as soon as you can, either on the dealers lot/campground or take it to a local park and live in it for a bit. You’ll find stuff that’ll need fixing easier by using the coach than just looking pre-purchase. If you’ve read this far, most of all enjoy your new to you rig, get out and camp, and hope to see you on the road someday.

I agree with the other posters. The main problem we had with our 2019 Aria 3601 was the dash air. Freightliner said that it was a problem with the motorhome and Thor found that it was actually the a/c compressor had a hole in it big enough to put your fist in. We told them that while returning from a camping trip, we heard a loud pop and it actually sounded like a tire blowing out. Long story short, Thor carried my unit back to the Freightliner dealer for replacing the a/c compressor and Freightliner actually replaced the 40' ac hose that ran from the compressor to the dash unit. When the compressor exploded, it tore a hole in the ac line. We had a few minor problems that were all corrected in the first year under warranty. Love, love, love my 3601.
