I think it would be a cool idea if we issued small "member numbers" with a directory on the website to everyone whereby you could place them on your coach. It would be easy to recognize a fellow member while traveling around...any thoughts?

Numbers can start with "TF-xxxx". I've run into a number of Thor owners along my short path so far...,I always ask them if they are on the forum and most don't even know about it (thus, happy Thor owners). They were excited to find out. I did meet a couple of members at the factory.

funny you mentioned TF numbers. i was going to suggest that we use our dealer issued lot stock numbers. mine is/would be TFW-864 for example.

if that doesn't work i hereby reserve 867-5309 for myself

Bob fmca sells them for $12. They are cheap and already broke. I added metal brackets to support them and make it stronger

You actually already have a number assigned from the forum - the missing piece is the lookup to get from number to name.

Click on anyone's screen name - and 'View Public Profile'. It will bring up a profile page. The URL contains the number - in my case 2829.
Format appears to be screenname-membernum.html

The user number alone is used to build search for all posts by a user for example...

The means to look up user 2829 and see that it is GMC isn't obviously available - though certainly a simple database query would do so...

Found it...mine is 11130 but you can't enter that number in the "search" feature and pull up a mamber's profile. Wonder if this can be added to the search criteria?

Yeah, long time ago I was looking out my back window (my house didnt have a fence at that time) and saw movement there bigger than a bird or a dog. I focused on it and that picture you showed of the Goyim with the binoculars looked exactly like that. So I opened the back door and asked him what he was doing and he said "reading your electric meter" which, since he had the uniform and the truck hey I agreed. Got my heart started though and remembering some of my questionable past deeds...statute of limitations, my last tax returns.
