110V electric to trailer from motorhome?

I have a 2016 Thor Vegas motorhome and an 18' enclosed trailer that I'm using to haul a track car. I'm hooking up an auxiliary 12V battery for the trailer interior lighting, however I'm also needing 110V in there as well. Of course, the motorhome has 110V via shore power / generator. So my question is, how can I take advantage of the systems that are already in place on the motorhome to supply the enclosed trailer with 110V powering options? To me, it seems redundant to get another generator to lug around in the trailer, if I'm already lugging one around in the motorhome. Thoughts?

If you have an open breaker spot in your power distribution panel, you could add another 15 or 20 amp breaker and then wire it to and externally rated receptacle... maybe a twist lock type.

I have a 21' enclosed snowmobile trailer and I had it built with 30 amp service. It has a sub-panel with two 15 amp breakers and about 4 or 5 outlets inside. You could add a sub-panel inside the trailer and then plug into the additional receptacle you add on the back of the motorhome to power the trailer.

You won't need it while towing: will you
If not: just run a power cord from an exterior outlet into your trailer...

Don't you have a 120 VAC receptacle on the outside of the MH on the passenger side? Run an extension cord from the trailer to that receptacle.

You may need to wire the trailer as you see fit including an external "input" such as this:
