So I see my pictures from yesterday's carpet install have now disappeared. I'm not sure how this keeps happening but it's certainly counter productive to the goal. So I'll re-post them and probably put a wrap on this thread until I can figure out what's going on.

Q: Hey Squerly, where’d all your pictures go?
A: I stored them on Google and now I have to search for them!
Come on, you know it’s funny. 😊
OK, I found the problem and fixed it. It won’t happen again going forward, but I expect a few previously posted pics to “disappear” later when the links to where they are stored get confused.
The hardest part of finding out you’re an idiot is admitting your wife has been right for the last 25 years.

Wow, I am very impressed!!!!!!! I may have taken a project like this on years ago but not now. We have a 2018 Windsport 29 m and I'd trade you it looks so nice. You obviously have the skills to restore this coach and I'm sure you'll have a lot of good times in it. We love the floor plan of ours and yours is similar in many ways....Enjoy!!!!!!

So yes, as I said, I expect more of the pics to disappear as the links to Google get confused. It's my fault, not theirs. So I'll re-post them as they break, and this time with the correct links.
Anyhow, I got the old out and the new in. The old carpet really wasn’t bad, but as long as I had the captain chairs out, I figured it would never get any easier than now.

Worked on the small wall at the end of the living room today. Installed some nice Stacked Travertine Stone Tile, hung a larger mirror and trimmed it all out. The stone tile is actually a peal-n-stick product we found at Lowe's. It doesn't weigh much at all, so I get the look of real stone at a fraction the weight penalty of the real thing.
Before and after pics below.

Thank you Thomas. New captains chairs, couch and dinette should be here soon. Will still have some outside work to do but at least we'll be able to use it. Can't wait!

Beautifully done ! That definitely doesn't look like a 15 year old coach.
Absolutely a good move to replace the carpeting; had carpet throughout our old 5th wheel, and it was impossible to keep looking decent. What is the flooring material you used ? Looks great.

Hi Popfla! The floors are QuickStep Studio Restoration Oak and it's a laminate flooring product I picked up at Lowe's. Pretty reasonably priced at about $2.00 Sq. Ft.
The existing carpet was screaming to be replaced, and with 2 German shepherds, wood was the only way to go.
Thanks for checking in on my project!

Doing the dash!
Today was my day to tackle the dash.
It wasn’t in terrible shape, not for a 15 year old coach anyway, but it needed to be freshened up. The only really bad area was on the passenger side where it appeared someone had put their feet up on the dash enough times that they had damaged the vinyl.
I repaired it with a vinyl repair kit and then masked off the windshield, instrument panel and side windows.
I used a vinyl & fabric spray from Dupli-Color and matched it to the leather swatch we got from the company manufacturing our new furniture. It’s not a perfect match, but it’s very close.
Here is the finished product.

On Monday I installed a 1,200-watt, pure sine power inverter with automatic transfer switch. It was a swingin deal at $199.00 and free shipping. I connected it to the side of the breaker box that handles all the outlets, TV’s, refer and the microwave. The other side of the fuse box handles the water heater, air conditioners and the converter. I won’t need those most of the time and if I do, I will turn on the generator.
Yesterday I drove over to Asheville and picked up four 6-volt, 430 AH Batteries which I installed today. These aren’t AGM batteries so maintenance will be required, but for the difference in cost, I’ll deal with adding water every few months.
The battery bay is directly underneath the extended slideout, so lifting these 122 lb. bad boys was a little awkward. A smarter person would have closed the slideout first, but I had already removed the old batteries so closing the slideout wasn’t possible. But they’re in now, and if I’ve done my math correctly, I have 860 amps to draw from. (More accurately, 430 as I won’t run them below 50%.)
I have a barn full of solar panels from another project and I hope to install a couple of them when I get the time. But for now, I’d just like to get the furniture in (should be here by the 15th) and go have some fun.
Oh, quick question. Should I be concerned about the extra weight I’ve added to that side of the coach? I don’t know what batteries the coach came with when it was new but I’m pretty sure it wasn’t a set this large/heavy.

CHF completed this afternoon. Can't test drive it as I'm still waiting for the seats to arrive. Wasn't a big deal but I hate working underneath anything, and this was no exception. But it's done and behind me now so one less thing on the rehab schedule.
Booked a site at Standing Indian Campground for the 8th through the 11th of May for my first "after rehab" trip. Standing Indian is only a few miles up the road but I figure it's a good idea to make the first run a short trip and one that is close to home. Just in case!
Front air conditioner decided it doesn't want to start now. I'm hoping it's just the fan and that I can replace it myself. Didn't have that in the budget but it-is-what-it-is I guess.

I've been trying to get a bid on new decals for almost a month but the decal companies in my little town don't seem to have much interest in the job. So I decided to go ahead and paint them myself.
I started to remove the original decals, but it didn't take long to realize that idea sucked. So I decided to paint over them and hope for the best.
I took a razor blade scraper (the kind you use to scrape paint off of a window) and got rid of all the shaggy edges of the decals. Then I scuffed them up with some (fairly well used) 400 wet/dry sandpaper. Next I masked around the old decal and then started painting them.
The picture below is after I masked around the decals and painted them. Some of the masking tape has been removed and some has not, so yes, it looks kind of weird. But for the most part, it's looking pretty darn good! Well, I think so anyway.
Tomorrow I hope to finish this side, remove the remainder of the tape, and move on to the other side. Well, that's the plan, but it's threatening to rain so I may have to wait until that passes.

Rain has been horrible so nothing got done the last couple of days. But today I finished painting the passenger side. Aside from several hours of my time invested, out of pocket expense has been about $45.00.

Looks terrific. I’m surprised how well it worked. What paint did you use?

Thank you Pete. Yeah, I was a little surprised at the results as well.
I used Valspar Duramax paint I got a Lowe's. I took a piece of each decal to them and they shot them with their cool paint decoder machine. Then they squirted some magic color stuff into their base paint and presto, perfect match!
Originally, I applied the paint with a brush, but I'm not much of a painter and the brush marks were evident. So back to Lowe's for this cute little roller and paint pan. I rolled over the brush marks and it came out very nice.
