Wifi repeaters

I'm thinking about a wifi repeater for our rig and just curious if anyone has some experience with boosting weak wifi signals which I understand are common in campsites with wifi. I use a Netgear wifi extender around the house but not sure if it will perform well inside the Thor. Anyone?

Thanks
RS

Our 28A came with the Winegard ConntecT 2.0 and since it sits on top of the RV, it works great!. WIFI Extender, Hotspot, HD OTA antenna.

I have our Winegard 2.0 configured to use as a WiFi hotspot if we happen to be in a campground which offers WiFi... buts that's rare for us. When I've used it, it worked well.

PepWave with SIM Cards for Verizon and AT&T. Connects to whichever signal is strongest at the time.

Like some of the others, we have the wineguard connect 2.0. Works great and casts a pretty large wifi footprint around the rv.

Winegard has no unlimited plan from Verizon?

I have the PepWave Max Transit Duo.

https://www.peplink.com/products/max-transit-duo/

My SIM cards are through a reseller with 200 GB each. I have pretty much given up on the Winegard and no longer recommend it to anyone

As a note, the PepWave is portable and we have used it in the Jeep driving through Yellowstone in July.

The OP asked about a WIFI repeater. All the answers regarding cell data are off topic and confuse the issue.

I have about 10 repeaters. They cover many acres and about 1/2 a mile.
Setup requires access to the source router at each rv park which you'll never have due to admin restrictions and passwords and real life stuff.

The op is clear as to what they wish to accomplish.
It ain't a repeater.

The op really means a cell booster
Or
A directional wifi antenna.

That's totally different.

Humm

I can see a lot of different setups from folks. My rig came to us with a bat wing antenna on the roof and four disconnected RG6 cables in a bundle over the dinette. I think it probably had a Winegard booster for TV but it's gone. I don't know if the antenna was intended for TV and Wifi or simply anolog TV signals. I thought campground wifi offered might have a weak signal and looked to boost the signal. Sorry if my OP was misleading.
Regarding the King Wifi which model was being used? Sounds like what i might be looking for.
Thanks for all the info and very interesting.

Yes, they want a WIFI repeater. Something that will take a weak park WIFI signal and boost it to useable levels to use in the RV.

This has nothing to do with cell signals and does NOT require access to the configuration of the park's Access Point.

The Winegard "batwing" antenna is used solely for OTA TV signals - it doesn't care if they are analog or digital, no antennas do. There is no such thing as a "digital antenna".

Now the batwing by itself is best for the lower frequency VHF channels (2 - 13) but you can get an add-on called the Wingman that will make it better able to receive UHF channels. On an RV there really isn't any better TV antenna than the batwing with a wingman on it.
