2015 Axis battery box upgrade

In the process of switching to AGM batteries I spent some time sprucing up the battery box. In the three pictures you’ll see the mess I started with to picture of the enclosed box and new AGMs installed. Attachment 25221Attachment 25222Attachment 25223

Real happy with the outcome, enclosed the carrier to keep the dirt and debris out.

Most excellent. But they might need some air flow (Venting) so they dont get too hot?

I know you said AGM (I love mine - so great choice) but I would still feel funny not having some venting just because they are still a form of L/A battery. But thats just me.

Is that box 100% sealed?

I thought about that during the process, both sides and front are 100% left about 1” in the back for wires to run through, my intention was to keep the water / rocks / mud out. Also used fuses termination blocks for the accessories.
