Is it glued? I am guessing you need to remove the chairs to get a clear path to either replace the carpet or lay more linoleum? Thanks any input is appreciated.
Are your front seats peeling, and if so did you did something.

You would have the remove also the 2 side consoles. The hard part is in the front under the dash and all around the motor cab.
if I would have to do it again, I would really look into vinyl planks as ex. 3 x 12"" planks, ,I think it would be easier that laying down a carpet or linoleum because of the many measures to fit. Good luck
Excellent description, thank you

We did not do anything to the seats, bought Vegas in this condition. I have asked for a quote from our local boat upholstery shop… holding my breath on the coat.

I did have 2 different quotes, and both upholstery shops are the same at $400 per seat CDN. and this for the seat only. My question is should I sell as is or have it repair. I don't know if I will get back my investment ???
Did you had a discussion on the state of the seats when you bought your RV,.?? tks

I used the vinyl locking planks to replace all the carpet in my Jayco 31 UL. Came out great and lots easier to keep clean. Wife has some area rugs she puts down. I even replaced the carpet in the step well. Did both slides as well. Used real oak treads in the stairwell. It wasn’t that hard to do.

An RV is not an investment unless you are talking about the time and hopefully enjoyment you have. The monies you spend on an upgrade or repair is to improve your experience with it, not someone else's. If it will improve your life and experience then spend/invest the money.

About 4 months ago. About $450 material. Found the flooring on sale. I did all the labor. Just redid the bathroom. Got rid of the cheap plastic sink. Installed a 17” new top, tall faucet and counter top sink. Painted the cabinets and made a wooden window valance. Also got rid of the carpet on the doghouse. Insulated with Kilmat. New headboard in bedroom.

I spoke to a boat upholstery shop who suggested upwards of $2k based on my photos. I did find covers for less than $100 that will be serviceable for ascetics but we haven’t driven on them yet.

Then depending on "well you bought" you either have an asset, or a liability. In today's strange vehicle market many will have an asset but that situation could change rapidly with the economy tanking. In the last year I've sold 3 vehicles for more than I paid. Yes that "fleet" is limited and I did replace the RV. The key, if there is such a thing, is finding an RV that's been on a dealer's lot for a while. The downside is why has it been there and all the people and potential abuse it suffered while sitting on that lot. If you can convince a dealer to give a decent discount on an order based on the fact this is a sale they wouldn't have otherwise, then maybe in today's market you might do OK, not well, OK.

I don't have an RV to escape covid although it does give us that distancing we do anyway. I have one because we like sleeping in our bed, eating in our house, bathing in our bath, etc. My investment is in our time and enjoyment. So far the return has been acceptable. I suspect that in the last 2 years a lot of RV buyers feel their salesman was Bernie Madoff.
