2016 Vegas 25.2 replacing Seiki TV

Has anyone change out the Seiki tv in the main living area? I purchase a Samsung smart tv for a replacement and because the Samsung is thinner than the Seiki I am having trouble getting the same mount to work. I may have to add some wood on the coach mounted bracket to bring it out farther from the frame.

Thanks,
Kev

Replacing the tv's in any coach with a different brand is a PIA! Rather than using wood you can go to a hardware store and purchase longer bolts and steel spacers, our use a stack of washers to move the tv out to the desired position.

I thought of that but the problem is the bracket is meant to sit flush against the surface. Too many washers or spacers will make the bracket less stable especially with a rv.

I was thinking perhaps you could leave the bracket alone and use the spacers to move the tv out. Just a thought.
