The switches work very intermittently and once I emptied my whole wiper fluid jar and still couldn't stop the wipers! I'm not sure how you would work the delay portion if you wished to use toggle switches, you would probably have to add a potentionometer in line with one of your switches so that you could control the delay. I think normally there is a pot a capacitor and a relay to give the wipers a primitive time out circuit. I think moving the Thor switch and cleaning the contacts with contact cleaner spray would be much easier assuming that the switch isn't total junk.

I am working on a truth table indicating the positions of the Ford MFS for the wipers. If I had an old pigtail from a 2016 E450 strip chassis truck it would make deciphering the pin assignment combination result. Both the Ford MFS and the (inconvenient) THOR MFS are not simple ON/OFF switch. Some is reverse logic (negatives turn positive). Still working on it all. Fun stuff for a Sunday afternoon.

I don't have a pigtail, but I do have a new switch stalk, in the box
If you need me to test some pinouts, just tell me what and how and where.

To analyze the Ford MFS, I just removed mine from the steering column. Simple. Just brought it in my office and am doing the investigation there. Warmer inside!

I have decided to move the Thor wiper switch to a more logical (IMHO) placement on my dash. I gently removed the Thor switch (which was glued in with hot glue). Cleaned all the misplaced hot glue from the switch (some inside the switch).
New location will be on the far left of the grey area of the instrument cluster. Closer than reaching to the far lower left. At least this way eyes stay on the road. Pix will follow.

I look forward to your pics, I still haven't come up with a way to substitute the turn signal stalk switches. My Thor switch is very intermittent, I wonder if some hot glue might be on the internal contacts?
Thanks for keeping us updated. How are you going to cover the hole where the other switch location was?

Maybe a good fit for air horn switch but I'd prefer the nitrous switch for my lil 25.2!

I picked out little bits (strings) of hot glue from the slide movement channels that entered the switch. All mechanical interference. No electrical interference.
The hot glue acts like tiny rubber bands on the mechanical movement.
When I get some more time I'll start to move the switch.

Thanks k.maslowski, maybe that's why my switch has to be hit fairly hard to operate and is intermittent. I'll try removing and cleaning mine probably tomorrow as I have a full slate today.

Remember, It is glued in quite well. Not easy to remove. I actually cut mine out with utility knife. It takes time and patients. NOT the time to enjoy a "tasty beverage".

I've seen mine and its HEARTILY glued.
It appeared, at my casual glance, to be hot glue.
Do you think it's hot glue?

Here are pix of my wiper switch move. Don't know why shown sideways.
From the top............
T1= Thor Switch hole after removal.
T2= Thor switch - note two white markers. Excess hot glue located/removed.
T3= Cutting template at new location.
T4= Grey bezel cut. Reveal beige main dash plastic (must remove).
T5= Thor switch in new (and better) location.

Awesome! Have to ask Thor "engineering"... now how hard was that?? Actually locating a control where it's SAFE to use!

We had issues with the stock Thor Wiper Switch on our 2018 Vegas also. Found another switch (identical as to looks and fitment) that was for a Freightliner, shortly after we took delivery in November of 2018. from memory, think it was about $45. Pluses were it plugged into the existing harness and works as it should (without heavy repeated pushes and choice language). Found this was a simple fix to the problem of non-functioning steering column switch.
Just trying to help and share with y'all.

It's the hot glue that is added to hold the switch in place. That's the problem.
