24.1 Rear Storage - The good and ugly.

The ugly: I removed the lights from the rear storage area and it looked like Thor used a rabid gerbil to chew a hole for the light. I also removed the panel under the bed and found 6 screws just rolling around in there (no idea where they are supposed to go).

The good: I fit 4 surfboards, 2 wakeboards, 6 kites and 2 tubs in that space!

I replaced the analog thermostat with a digital one and, after seeing the hole for the wires, they may use an entire family of rabid gerbils to make the holes for installation.

Let's all send in three cents and help them buy a set of bits. A 2 inch round carbide saw bit costs $6.99 this week at Lowes.

Who is with me?

Phil

I hear ya and if they go shopping for the hole saws, maybe they could get a shop vac to clean up the chips etc. afterward.

I second the shop vac, hell just a broom would be great. I sucked up enough sawdust in mine to make a second motorhome, and I didn't get it all!

I'd like the 24.1's rear compartment even better if it was rectangular and extended all the way across motorhome with uniform cross section. Similar to this:
