24FE Solar Hookup

I'm thinking of installing a Solar panel and charge controller on my 2018 Freedom Elite 24FE. My problem is I do not know were the Solar connector on the roof goes.
Does it run down directly to my Battery?
if so which wire?
Or does it tie in with 12-volt system elsewhere?

when you say solar connection 'on the roof', are you meaning that the RV already has one?

any solar panel wiring goes to a Solar Controller, and then directly to the Battery bank.

If you contact Thor's Customer Service: they can send you the wiring diagrams for you rig.
Otherwise: find the interior wall that the wires have been run down, and then crawl under your rig, and look for where they come out...

My 22E Motorhome was Prewired for Solar.
The wires on mine were just coiled behind my power distribution box. (Fuse and Circuit breaker panel)
They are Orange and white
I would look there first, the other end is on the roof.

same here..2018 22e, under bed behind power box, orange and white

Kind of braided/twisty if I remember right.
