28A Tanks

I'm kinda disappointed in the size of the FW/GW/BW tanks on our 2021 28A. It seems with 40 gals of fresh water and 22GW/25BW, it would only provide for a couple of days of camping. My son-in-law's toy hauler has tons more tank storage. Anybody put in bigger tanks?

No idea about adding tanks. Adding tanks would also add considerable weight when full, which could be a concern, although that unit should have a pretty good OCCC. For reference, water weighs 8.34 lbs per gallon.

With conservation, careful use of water for washing and rinsing dishes, and most especially without showers (use CG facilities, go swimming, Navy shower, etc.), 40g can last quite a while. My last unit only had a 32g tank and my family of 5 could go for 4-5 days.

If we are in a campground, we would have full hook ups or at least water and power.

I'm talking about boondocking or dry camping. Weight would obviously be a consideration and I would take that into consideration when loading equipment.
