2nd A/C in Vegas 24.1

I am going to add a 2nd A/C unit to our Vegas 24.1. During summer days at dragstrip, unit gets warm. There is no shade most tracks. I have a champion 3500 rv generator on racecar trailer so additional power is no issue. I also do not mind having a backup when traveling and Vegas balance points to me keeping additional wt behind axle.

Is there a preferred route to get power to bedroom area vent to power unit? Or should I just use surface wiremold?

There was a recent thread about adding a 2nd A/C, but I can't find it. He installed it in the rear vent cutout. Wiring may have been wiremold but to a side wall and fished down, 10/2. It terminated into it's own pedestal cord. I recall discussion about using a 50a WYE to 2x 30a plugs. Good luck finding it. I'm looking forward to your progress.

Here's a link to a thread about adding an ac unit to a vent.

Thx jazzfest! I mis-remembered. He ran the wires thru the ceiling air channel.wiremold wouldn't be terrible though.

And I had a second AC install in our Gemini, though its in front, but vented into the already existing vent system. It mounted into where the front roof vent was, had to be there for the support structure, and there is a second 30 plug right next to the existing one cabled to the new AC. I will run a Y connector from both 30 amp connectors to a single 50 amp cable and plug into the 50 amp service on the pedestal. The AC is a matching Dometic low profile AC and heat pump to the one that is factory installed.
