30 amp on a 50 amp

Searched for something on this and didn’t see anything. But I installed a 30 amp service for my Gemini at the house. We traded for a Windsport 31 z with 50 amp service. I have been looking at the 30 to 50 adapters. Does anyone have this setup? The adapters are fairly cheap. I only want to be able to pre cool refrigerators and keep batteries charged. Will this do damage to the electrical system? My thinking is if it would then they wouldn’t have the adapters?
To update to a 50 amp service will be major investment so if this will work I will go with the adapter.

Camping World sells all sorts of those "dogbone adapters"; just make sure that you get one that plugs in properly for you.
If I'm guessing correctly today: I think that you want a "50 amp female, to a 30 amp male" adapter.

You should be OK connecting a 50 amp coach on a 30 amp adapter. Just don't run more than one AC unit at a time, or the microwave while the AC is running.

Our rig is a 30 amp unit...
So we bought a "30 to 15", and a "30 to 50" set of adapters.
As long as there's power somewhere close: we can plug into it.

30 amp on a 50 amp

We use the same adapters that Bob mentioned. As long as you don’t draw more amps than what you are plugged into is rated for, you won’t have to reset the circuit breaker.
