30 amp circuit install

Finished up the install last weekend. Started it a while ago, got busy and let it slide. Had the rig plugged into 110 15amp in the driveway to keep batteries topped off etc.

From the pictures it appears the 30A female is wired using 15a wire. IF that is true then the CB would/should be 15A as well.

Romex 10/2 is pretty heavy duty and rated for 30A.

Ran my 30 amp last year. Underground to where she’s normally parked, one in the garage when she’s parked in the driveway.

Run was just over 50 ft. Wouldn’t you know it, had to buy 100 ft rolls of thhn wire.

Outstanding.

I had my local electrician install a 30 amp in my garage last year. It was a lot of work (IMO) since he had to run it up into the attic then down the wall by the garge doors. He only charged me like $150 so I thought it was well worth it.

We need to have the Office electrical system give a good once-over...
It WILL include a 30 amp outside plug for the RV.

Bob, when you do that, installed an outdoor plug, get the bo with the circuit breaker built in the box with the plug. That way you can shut off the breaker outside, plug in the RV, and flip the breaker back on, no worry of an arc.
