ACE 29.3 bunk storage

We have a 2016 ACE 29.3 and we're trying to figure out the best way to use the overhead bunk for extra storage. Has anyone replaced the mattress with any sort of system of boxes, netting, bags, etc? I'm having trouble figuring something out that will keep the items from shifting and bunching up at the edges when the bunk folds up in the middle.

Thanks

Really can not help, I have looked at the overhead in my ACE and there really does not seem to be much room for much of anything. Something also to remember that the overhead is either all the way down or all the way up. Its like the slide do not stop until its reached the end of the journey.

Maybe someone will post on what they have done.

Not sure there is a way to use that area for storage. I tried to store some flat pieces of foil faced bubble wrap (cut to fit windows for insulation) there, and that didn't even work. I certainly max out the cubbies that you can access when the bunk is down for storage of extra linens, though!
