Finally added 12v cockpit and fan (along with 12v subpanel).
Well I finally installed my cockpit fan and a 12 v reading light. The fan helps circulate the air (while driving or stop) plus if the windows fog up and can point at the windshield for safe driving.
But every time I thought about my fan install I would think about future mods needed and postpone my install.
So I decided to add a 12 V subpanel (with 6 seperate fuses) behind my TV in the front part of my RV. Im always adding extra 12 v plug-in's and I might decide on more reading ights/fans etc. I even stuck a few extra fuses in the box for future use.
So this subpanel with allow super easy upgrades down the road.
I can turn it on and off with the circuit breaker located below but each reach but out of sight (also install a 30 amp fuse by the house battery). I leave it off while in storage.
The flexible LED reading light can be used from the co-pilots seat as a map light, or shine down for the steps or night light, or turned towards my OEM tank/Battery status lights / generator hour meter for easy reading at night.

Sure....come one down.....I have a 30 amp outlet in my garage.
We can add that Flux capacitor to your new sub panel.
I wish I had more time for mods (and camping - I like doing both).

IMO anyone can learn to do mods at home or on the RV if they try.... Esp with Youtube and this Forum.
As long as you your physically capable .....give it a try.... you can always get help on this forum or bring to your local handyman. But at least you tried.
When on the road I feel more confident (Try) to fix it myself (or help a fellow RV'er fix thier rig). So that makes me feel more confortable.
Plus I carry lots of tools and spare parts/nuts/bolts/zip ties etc with me to get it done (I hope). And if I need help I can hire someone and they can use my tools or parts to fix my RV to get on the road quicker?

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve made it worse than it was before I tried it fix it. All of my life it’s been this way. Jerry (Halfprice) has convinced me to try and I have had some success. There are times when I read a mode/fix that someone has done and have no idea what they are talking about haha. So, this forum is the best, only if you understand what people are talking about.

I installed a HD Front Sway bar, Rear track arm and the saftey Plus steering damper and it helped tremenously. Im happy with my setup.
Others have installed Sumo springs only and swear by them. Some have done every mod under the sun.
IMO the safty plus steering dampner (or some other brand) will help but I think you will need a Front HD sway bar or Sumos in the front in order to feel like you getting the most benifits.
With the Axis (E450) chassis having the coil springs up front I feel like they are very soft and need the most help compared to the rear leave springs. So start with the front mods first.

Yeah, it does happen to the best of us. I still screw a few things up but most of the time I research something that I dont know until I know it.
But you still have to try and lean from your mistakes. Im doing mods now that I would have never thought about tackling 10 years ago. I added an inverter, 120 Outlets, replace the OEM converter with a better one, We boost, WiFI Ranger, added the Big Foot Hydraulic system by myself, Sway bars, fabricated a spare tire rack with hoist.... the list goes on.
I would start with small mods and build up from there.
