Low flow shower head
Just switched to a Bricor low flow shower head. After ordering the company adjusts the shower head to your water pressure and the results are great. Our 1.125 gpm shower head is actually delivering just under 1 gpm due to the pulsating of the water pump. We now take boondocking showers without turning the water on/off. Shower feel is awesome and it's hard to believe how little water is being used. I (we) are super happy and we smell great !

Thats awesome. Great for boon docking.
I installed a surge tank to even out the water flow (make water pump much quieter) then I installed the Oxygenics shower head. Works great.... some of the best mods I have done.

Saw this let us know....
Currently the typical RV water pump operates either fully ON or OFF, with a pressure switch to stop the pump at a pressure maximum and an internal by-pass to divert water back to the pump inlet to attempt to regulate the pressure vs water flow-rate. While these mechanical systems can work, they cannot cover all the bases and operate with reduced efficiency.
*
This results in possible noisy operation where the pump is forced to cycle ON and OFF, a complaint heard by many RV owners. This increased mechanical stress can cause premature failure in water system components.

Shower head replacement
Does anyone have recommendations for a shower head replacement for Thor Vegas?
Thanks in advance,
Topd

If you want a great shower with minimal water get a Bricor, if you're connected to "city" water and usage doesn't matter I'm sure there are many choices. For me I hate being "tied to the grid" and the longer I can go without any connections the better.

An Oxygenics head will provide a satisfactory shower that seems to be more pressure at a reasonable price, $50 +/-.
I have no experience with the Bricor shower head & for $100-130 dollars seriously doubt I ever will.
Also that device for the pump at $230 wouldn't be installed on my equipment. Sounds like some kind of overpriced doodad to me. For that price you could buy a good quality hi flo pump with an accumulator tank once the OEM pump quits.
Im too much of a tight wad to try these new fangled thingamabobs, most of which do nothing but lighten your wallet, but glad to hear someone is testing them out, hope they work for you.
