Adding an inverter to my freedom elite 26HE

I am looking to simply add an inverter for now then upgrade the converter charge when we do solar in another year. Has anyone else done this? I can only do so much in upgrades on retired income especially with the downturn market this year[emoji16].

I added a 1500W inverter w/DC and AC wiring for about $350.

I saw your post from awhile ago. Did you ever hardwire in an inverter?

See attached wiring diagram when I added my inverter. The inverter circuits are not intermingled with the shore/gen AC. I use brown/white outlets for the two systems. The diagram reflects only the DC side of the systems.

That looks like the same diagram for my 26HE. It is my understanding that the AIMS 2500w inverter/charger does wire in with the generator and shore power because it has an internal transfer switch to switch between AC and DC.

There are several models of 24, 25, and 26 foot Thor manufactured coaches that use almost identical exectrical systems.
