I'm sure it will look great. Let us know how it goes and if you have any questions.

OK - my RecPro lights are in and I'm ready to install this weekend. My last (hopefully) question: exactly which wires did you tap in to? I'm assuming the wires that tie in to the inside stepwell light, not the amber light underneath the coach? Is that correct? Thank you.

That is correct, the step we'll Light wires... Those are the easiest wires to splice into. If you did the steps light, it would only work when you open your door. Let us know how it goes when your done.

Erich,

Thank you so much for all of your help through this forum. I probably would not have tried doing this if not for your posts. Everything came out great, and most importantly, DW is happy!

The only place I varied from you is I did not loosen the awning arm. Instead, I fished the new wires to the RecPro light down through the same awning channel that Thor fished the original awning light wire. Then, I popped off the fascia at the bottom of the awning arm to expose the hole to fish the wire inside the coach.

So happy it worked out well for you but most importantly that the DW is happy with your work. It's nice being able to look like the stud sometimes and impress the DW. [emoji6] enjoy your new lights.
