Adding mood lights above living room slide

Maybe my final Covid-19 project:
I installed led tape lights above the living room slide on our Thor Aria 3901 (pic 1 but upside down). Because the ceiling lights are so bright even when dimmed, this 16.4 ft Lampee 2835 led strip tape set for $15 on Amazon matches the Thor aisle light led color. This light set has combo Daylight/Warm White leds that are dimmable and light intensity adjustable with the remote supplied. The tape strip has 3M stick-able backing making installation easy. The hardest part of the project was installing a corded multiplug unit thru the furnace air inlet behind the dinette and next to the fireplace (see pic 3). The next closest receptacle is under the forward dinette bench and is too awkward to use (hard to see but shown in right side of pic 2). If anyone wants to do this I could take more pics and describe in more detail my procedure.

Just curious, but the LED set is 12V, why did you not connect to the batteries or tap off the coach DC somewhere and thus eliminate the receptacle 'problem'? ✌
