I’m old and Polish - are you saying that if the company goes belly up and their private cloud evaporates, the alerts will still go out thru my rv’s Wi-Fi?

I’m considering leaving a cell phone in the RV and using it as a hot spot. Then have the controller connect to my Wi-Fi.

Good question. All I know is that it shows up as a separate WIFI signal, so I can hook directly to it without going through their host network. I don’t know if you would be able to see it using your phone as a hotspot. I would call them. They are very friendly and helpful.
