Awning Cover for Axis

Anyone add an Alumaguard hard cover to the electric awning for an Axis/Vegas? Would like to have better protection from trees...I know I'm going to rip it one of these days.

Anything you have to fiddle with before/after using the awning is to much work for me.

emailed Carefree and all their covers come as the last few inches of the canvass awning. So I guess I wait until it needs replacing. Not interested in ones I need to remove manually...Tks for the replys.
