I use the noodle on the awning arm. Went to Lowes and bought the gray hot water pipe insulation. Cut is about 36" long and slit it up the length. Works great and does not allow framework to mar door. Zoom in on the front awning arms on the picture and you can see the foam when it is installed.

Mustang:
Looks like you have more room behind your toilet than we do in the Axis. Our toilet is up on a pedestal and the cabinet above it is lower than yours.

Wish we had the room for all three shelves. Looks great.

Add another 11' to your coach and you too can have three shelves.

Also having the macerator put in.
Raising floor under dinette to cockpit elevation seems like an excellent idea. I would prefer going from a couch to a dinette (like converting a 24.1), but even there having the floor higher would allow passengers sitting on dinette to have a much better view of road. Sitting at same height also makes it easier to talk, etc.

What you are doing is similar to almost all ProMaster/Ducato Class Bs that have the driver and passenger seats at a higher elevation. Builders usually elevate the dinette so that all seats up front are at equal elevation. Mostly it's so they can eat on same table which doesn't apply to Axis; but it works out well regardless. Look forward to pictures.

For an extra 1' added to length of 25.2, Thor could provide permanent shelves in form of much larger bathroom.

What did you do to the passenger side cup holder ? I, already, know after one short trip that this needs a modification...actually, on both sides. Ron has, even, resurrected his cup holder which he placed on the floor between the seats on our previous B+ ...

Back to your modification..please post a photo if you have time. thankyou K

They cost $1550 which includes shipping. Should get them next week.

Nice work! I would have preferred slide out drawers though. Carpet looks fantastic!

As I mentioned before, I wonder if it is possible to make one or two slide out drawers under the driver and passenger platform. There should be a big enough hollow cavity in there to make a least one nice slide out drawer.

I can't wait to see the final project completed. Love seeing these creative mods!

When in doubt...tinker tinker tinker!

Hush, hush, I thought I heard my water pump calling my name!

My latest mod for the rambunctious water pump. You can still hear it, but the noise reduction is substantial.

For someone making that Mod and wanting drawers..it would seem possible to purchase drawers from Home Depot/Lowes/Menards if you are not inclined to create them yourself !

I just made it taller and a bit longer to add two cup holders. I'm also adding a tilt door on the console because my DW wants some storage for small items.
