Thanks to others for posting about doing this which motivated me to do so.
Just did the same thing... got the chrome finish. Very easy to do with no tools. Happy wife, happy life as they say....

I'll have to figure out a way to accomplish this (upgrading bathroom faucet). The older units don't have separate shower hot/cold controls--the source for the shower comes right off the top of the faucet.

Like this one Dura Faucet with shower diverter.

Problem is all the replacement ones I see on Amazon are the same height as the one we already have...

Sorry Jamie. Bummer. Suppose they saw the error of their ways from '14 to '15 and made the change in plumbing. Seems there would be some out there with the higher profile to accommodate you.

Yes Axis Earl; wife is happy with it.

Jamie,

Don't give up. I get most of my ideas in my dreams or when I'm using the toilet.

Have a few drinks and let your mind drift a little.

LOL How appropriate as I'd be staring at that faucet the entire time..at least the next time we go camping.

I agree with Ron. That was one of my projects this year - to replace the faucet and make the shower easier to use. I planned to split off the lines under the cabinet and run two lines up the wall to a one handle faucet for the shower. Then I could replace the one on the sink. However, Thor beat me to it and I figured it was cheaper to buy a new 2016.... And I got a new set of tires thrown in!

We're you going to run the lines outside the wall or disassemble the wall and shower surround (which sounds like a lot of work--and I'd never get it back together right!).

I've thought about just putting the shower controls right on the side of the cabinet there (maybe put them vertically so the shower feed exits to the side to get it around the curtains).

Thieves opened our shower wall for us, by ripping the bedroom TV off the wall. There isn't much going on in there. The biggest issue running water lines would be that there are 1 or two "studs" you'd have to go through/around if you pulled the shower lines from under the bathroom sink.

But, you could pull them from under the driver-side bed. The only visible hole would be the one where you end up putting the shower controls. It should be fairly simple, if you can locate and avoid the wall studs.

Regards,

Randy

This past weekend while my wife and I were doing things in the coach she mentioned the bathroom faucet. I told her it could be changed and without missing a beat she looked at me and said I could change the faucet but I was not to accept any "special faucet deals" which include a "free RV".

Dave -- but they'll throw in a free 6-speed transmission as well.

Sorry to hear you had a break in. Hope the damage was minimal and insurance will cover your losses and you are on the road soon. Even with ins. coverage, the inconvenience and personal violation takes a while to sort out.

Wouldn't work if I tried. Our rig has a glass shower door.

Kay,

Great idea for a foot rest.

We have the same folding table and - from Bed, Bath and Beyound - you can get a matching Butler's Table. Enlarge the phono below (last weekend's trip to KOA in Marble NC) to see each.

Thank YOU Doc ! That table is nifty .. yes, that is what we were looking for, ha !
I like the Butler's table,..from BBB ? Regarding covering the table at a campground...We settled on a new set of tablecloth clips at CW. Do you have an innovative approach to keeping that rascal in place?

Happy summer !
