Penguin,

I have a different camera on mine, it has a slide adjusting rainshield...BUT it was all the way up and back and did no good protecting the camera lens. I adjusted the rainshield and used the Allen Wrench to tighten it. Might just wait until the next rain to see how it works.

Doc

That's cool Doc. Glad you found it. I must have the bargain camera.

I've never felt the need to adjust the wing over the rear camera. The glass is far cleaner than the back of the RV. I've never actually directly cleaned the camera lens glass.

I saw in the picture you had a different camera. However it sounded like Doc's camera was like mine so from a seemingly functional positioning reference is why I posted the photo.

Nope ... factory unless somebody swapped it out between the build and my picking up the rig. Either way, it has been working well in all weather conditions.

Ours is like Penguins ... does a satisfactory job, but would be nice to have that shield.

Front jacks are on

Went to visit/hug the camper and found out that they put the front jacks on:

I put all 4 jacks down in the storage lot and was jumping around inside the camper to see how it moved around. The jacks greatly reduce up/down and twisting motions of the camper. It still seemed to move a little side to side. Feels like it will make a huge difference, though, when someone is sleeping in the front drop-down bunk.

That would be a great addition for our Four Winds. Can you share a source?

We bought this at a campground office 5-6 years ago..have not seen them since, other than on google images, last night, but could not find them to purchase.
It is 2 sided, held together by a couple round magnets. It is about 3x3"
Has served us well.
