[QUOTE=JollyRodgers;61727]Have been wanting to replace the plastic kitchen sink in our Axis 24.1. Started this morning, need to router out the hole to accept the new sink. Will post after pics when we're finished.
Where did you find your stainless sink JR ?

We couldn't get the stickers off the sink in our new Axis so that was our excuse to order a new stainless steel sink to replace it.

After much searching, found it on eBay.

I wonder however if Thor is using SS in their 2018 models, if they could provide a parts # to order?

There is that Dawn sink available on Amazon that looks like its the proper dimensions.
There is also this one at Lowes but it looks like some cutting may be required.

Third radio sunscreen 3D print turned out great! Perfect fit and doesn't need sticky tape to hold it in place.
First print didn't have enough table contact and a corner lifted before it finished printing. Second print I added flanges to slide behind the radio edge. However the top flange was out of plane with the sides so the top didn't slide behind the radio bezel very well. The worst part is the flange wasn't in contact with the print bed so again, it came loose during the print. Getting that rib flat on the bed was enough to keep this attempt stuck for the whole print.
One comment I have about the plastic sink topic ... when doing dishes, it's quieter than others we've had

FYI,
Got around after a year to get the stickers off the plastic sink.... Goo B Gone takes off the sticker and will not harm the plastic's finish.

STICKER REMOVAL .. WD-40 generally does the trick without damaging acrylic and plastic...and then washes off with a bit of warm water n soap.

So far, we have not melted our sink !! It may be a matter of time...So..I shopped one which will fit the hole in our counter and found IKEA has a 16" sink..it does not appear quite as deep as our sink...but, if I can talk Ron into replacing ours...I think I will take a look at that one !
Happy you enjoy the forum !

more info on that IKEA sink
BOHOLMEN
Sink, stainless steel
$46.98

not as deep as some...but doable, possibly, offset drain.

what kind of 3d Printer do you have, it seems to do large prints.

Just got a 3D printer and am surprised at how many simple things around the garage and house can simply be printed up when needed.

Sewer door
Does anyone else dislike the way the sewer door opens when it hangs down making it difficult to reach under and hook it up.

Agree that it is not ideal but not a real big deal. What WAS a big deal were the self tapping screws used in the flange for the dump opening. I had my fingers mangled twice and then replaced all the sharp screws with stainless steel bolts, washers and lock nuts. No more blood.

Definitely not the best place to have an open wound!
My husband complains about the same thing. I have a difficult time twisting the pipe down so he usually does it... sweet man. He's been talking about the same fix you made. I would think that this would be something easy for the Thor to do... hint hint if you're listening Thor
