I will have to see if I gain some clearance in the back of the coach after installing the rear sway bar, and I have my doubts about that. I'm not planning on adding rear Sumos at this point, as I believe the front was more critical due to the more forward weight loading of my Axis and I wanted to take care of the front end before I have it aligned next week.

Just completed my replacement of the implement of torture that Thor calls a sleeper sofa with a RecPro ($799) dual recliner. The color is mahogany which blends very well with the side leather on the driver/passenger seats. Fit with about an 1.5 to spare on each side and reclines fully with no problem. I really like the firmness of these compared so some others I looked at which were too soft for my tastes. I was able to keep the table storage behind the seats, but had to move the table legs to be safe. Attaching them to the platform was the trickiest part. Had to get a flexible drill extension to attach metal straps to the chair frame and Axis platform. I was able to get some of the leatherette fabric from RecPro for $10/yard that I used to cover a baseboard I cut to trim out the bottom. Super comfy, excellent for snoozing, and really makes the living area so much more usable. Thanks Doc and all who have gone before me and were so helpful!

I kept the Valterra Sewer Solution from my trade-in because I too liked it but was disappointed that the "Y" outlet did not protrude out enough to connect the Macerator. Did you have to use an extension? I purchased one but haven't tried it yet.

We also didn't like the couch - it takes up far too much room, and isn't really comfortable. I suppose it makes sense if you need the extra bed.

Our goal was to make a much more open living room. We added a half-dinette that doubles as a one-person couch, and a chair - both as a second office space, and to make the RV feel more open. When we're traveling, one of the dogs hangs out in the space.

So far, we're pretty happy with this.

I did use- Dorman 924-527 Spare Tire Hoist Assembly $99,
and - 2003-2007 Ford F250 F350 F450 F550 Super Duty Spare Tire Tool Replacement Set Kit for Jack $35
I did cut to 48" long pieces unstrat to mount, add some beam clams , bolts.

I don't think so , it mount same way on my truck.

I installed the new 7180 Hellwig rear anti sway bar today and was surprised at how quick and easy (less than 20 minutes) the removal of the original bar and installation of the new bar was. Getting a front end alignment on Tuesday so I think the coach should handle far better than the white knuckle drive we had coming home from the dealer.
Attached a pic that shows the difference in diameter between the old and new anti sway bars.

Here are the dedicated outlets...I will be installing one more in the rear of the coach. If I want to power the entire coach...shut down the converter...use 15 to 30 amp dog bone...bingo!

Hey there,

We have the Axis 25.2...and it has the toilet seat really high! So, hubs made a little platform that we keep in the bathroom. We've been looking for a shorter toilet to replace this and thus solve the problem with no luck. Anyone make any mods???
