I cut some 1/8" steel to match the size of the mounts on the sewer hose tube.
Drilled those pieces so the tube would bolt up to them and also drilled them so I could bolt them through the bumper.

If you look at the picture you can see my steel brackets sandwiched between the sewer hose tube and the bumper.
Used stainless hardware and painted my steel adapters to match the bumper.

It's tough to work behind the bumper but not impossible.

We installed that last year....a good addition...also...someone, last summer, made the suggestion of putting a strip of bright tape on the door handle and the screen handle to make them easier to find.

I have four long screws on my Vegas that have to be taken out while someone holds the TV. The TV does not swing out or unhook.

Thanks for the great suggestion. This was a great, easy, inexpensive mod that I'm sure will make the screen door last longer and facilitate easy of opening & closing.

Has anyone removed the overhead bunk mattress (like in the Vegas/Axis 24.1), to use the space for soft storage (i.e. linens, clothing, etc)?

We have removed the over head bunk mattress and store both removable tables and poles up there. Works well, we wrap them in a few towels. We also store other things up there also as needed. We don't have a need for that area as a bunk.

One thing to remember is that if you use the bunk for storage, you must put the bunk all the way down and then all the way up each time you use it. If you lower it partially, you risk getting the two motors out of sync and jamming the system and even damaging the mechanism.

We keep the deflated mattress, blankets and sheets up there, ready for company that stays over, which is seldom.

FWIW... and not a recommendation to anybody ... but... Our front bed mechanism has never seen bottom position and only gets to sync motors on the upper position. We've traveled a few times with the bed partially down and use it for storage ... no special pin modifications etc... yes, I know, NOT a good practice and I don't do that when traveling dirt roads but I figure worse case I deal with the issue if or when it happens as we simply don't need a bed there.

Without removing mattress we keep the tables stored there. Mattress compresses fine. The table storage in the closet is worthless and makes the closet unusable even if the stupid clips would hold (which the don't).

Love this forum!! We are on first voyage with our 24.1. Have lowered the bunk a tad for some storage and now you have saved us!
