Hello there,

I was wondering if you could share your experience with your leveling system. Bullseye Leveling system is electric correct?

I looked at those a few years ago but didn't pull the trigger on purchasing them.

Can you tell us which ones you purchase for your Axis?
How are they hooked up?
Any issues with product?
Any issues with dealer or manufacturer?
Do you have pictures?
Videos?

Thanks.

upnyfolks,

Re: The TV mounting modification that you made:

Do you have any issues with the TV now coming down while driving or otherwise? Is there a way or a need to have it strapped in to keep this from happening?

thx,

karen

The mount that I used locks the TV firmly into place and is released by pulling down on a small cable. We put over 13000 miles on our Axis this year and some of it was on some pretty poor roads, the TV has never come unlatched.
I like the mount so much that I am going to remove it at put it in our new Hurricane when it arrives.
Here is a link to the mount on Amazon:

Bathroom Counter extension update

I noticed a custom cabinetry place on my commute so today I stopped by with the panel to see what they could do. They said: "Sure we'll have it back to you in 2 weeks".

Hmm cool will probably be the nicest panel in the RV!

The Axis wasn't designed for jacks so i made a few modifications also had to reroute wiring.. Like i posted a wile back, thor makes a good coach, Ford make a good chassis, Thor does a real bad job of marring them together.

What modification did you make for the Bullseye jacks? I plan on installing my own. Thank for any help.

Bathroom Counter extension update

The saga continues LOL
I got a call from the cabinet place today, my panel was ready. Behold the new replacement panel (but which one is it?):

Yeah ok its the one on the top (a lot more woodgrain in it).

Its perfect, even the thickness matches the original panel (they were concerned that their stock was a bit thicker but its the same).

Note that the other panel in the picture is just the inside panel of the cabinet wall--not the "original" one I'm replacing--that one has a few more, and bigger, holes in it.

Have some business travel coming up so I won't be able to finish the project for a week or two, however--but its still winter and we won't be using the coach yet so there is time...

I like the new panel. I like the grain. Can't wait to see the final project.

Bathroom Counter extension update--Success

I found some time to try to install the panel + counter extension.

First since I had everything at home I carefully measured and put it together:

I used the clamps to hold the front panel in place--I couldn't permanently attach it because I wouldn't be able to install it into the RV.

Looks like I'll be just fine (I measured just under 2" of room between the door and the panel).

Panel installed with some extra screws--thank you Thor for leaving me some screws lying around for just such a project (also note the extra reinforcing dowel for the hinges).

All installed. The new panel is glued into place and currently held on using Thor's best practice: staples--I only used a few and given where it is no one will ever notice them.

I think this will work out great:

Looks like we'll have to add a little padding to the door:

Found some USB charger's with a voltmeter on the front. Going to install this in the place of the right 12V plug since we never use them.

Now I just have to figure out how to make the hole bigger (hole saw in plastic)? without damaging it too much.

Looks great! I had to add some self stick rubber pads on my door for padding. Nice job.

Don't use a hole saw it will walk. I suggest a dremel and a steady hand to open up an existing hole.
