Solution for that pesky rattling flip up kitchen counter extension:
Put metal contact on cabinet wall, mount large part under extension. Perfect fit.

Sorry for the delay, have not been following this for a while. If you have not done it already, go to the Axxera website or do a search for the firmware update to correct this problem. We have since replaced this radio as we were never able to listen to Audible or Chirp on it. Bought a cheap Sony which does everything we need.

JohnnyD, I'm going to copy your method of securing the counter extension. Great idea!

Has anyone replaced the front cab carpeting? Ours is starting to look a bit ratty.

I have that eonon.
The cameras are controlled by a control box outside of the radio and the radio head has absolutely nothing to do with camera function.
The camera controller is in the cubby hole behind your speedometer. If you turn the two quick fasteners 90° the cover pops off of the dash and you can see the camera controller and see there is only a video out cable.

The radio has a video in plug and all it knows is video in.
However:
The axxera delay on turn signals quit and is now instant.
The picture is 4 times as good probably due to pixel screen count.

But
The wiring on my 24.1 was so scrambled I took one look and drove to a professional and had it installed.
It was the best $100 I've ever spent on the 24.1.

There are pictures of it installed. They're on the last few pages of my signature thread and dispersed many many many times throughout other radio threads.

Something to realize about the eonon is mine doesn't have an hdmi slot or an aux input plug. Mine is two years old. That's a lifetime in radio so yours might have them.

Go on youtube to find the codes for the hidden menus for this radio head. Lots of functions aren't on the regular menu.

Eonon isn't the only solution.
I have one in the 24.1 because my offroader has a older and bizarre eonon(single din, a 8 inch screen slides out, rotates 90° and then flips backwards... Very cool) needed a software fix and they were on it as if I were a long lost brother. Emails in excellent english(they're Japanese) youtube vids posted just for me, me posting youtube vids just for them.
They also make excellent car cameras and other goodies.

Thank you, i also asks you about the radio you took out of your MH. I am undecided if we just want to replace with pretty much what we have because our screen turned pink the other day or if we want to get a bigger one like the eonon. Again we mostly just use it for the camera function.

Depends on the vintage 24.1: Earlier ones with the Jensen radio's don't have the controlbox under the dash as the Jensen radios handle that inside the radio.

No control box in ours.

You don't want that axxera I have. It's a sad sad piece of equipment.
And
I didn't know about the Jensen controlling cameras.
I know nothing to help you if the Jensen controls the cameras.

But
If someone other than me ascertains the axxera can control your cameras,
Mine is yours. Just pay shipping from 86046 or trade me something cool.
I don't know what cool is or I'd already own it.
Ashtrays, wall kitsch and table lighters from the late fifties early sixties is a good trade 5ype.

24.1 - Winegard G3 DISH Roof Mount Install

I recently roof-mounted a Winegard G3 & added DISH Wally in my RV.
Now, although the Winegard supports two Wally’s, I chose to have just the 1 Wally & connect the main HDMI cable to a 3-way HDMI splitter (located above the kitchen sink)

From there...6’, 12’ & 25’ HDMI cables were routed thru walls and cabinets to the 3 Seiki TVs (Living Room, Outside, Bedroom)
So, in this set-up...all three TVs see the same DISH satellite channel, which is fine for us.
I can watch any or all 3 TVs via OTA antenna for local channels, a DVD player , or DISH Network or Streaming.

By the way...in my home I just switched from ATT Uverse to DISH. And I just love the DISH features, makes ATT look vintage old-school.
Plus, I save about $40/mo with more programming.

The Winegard G3 works great, and has a 20% larger dish than previous models.
And, if the channel I change to is on a different satellite...the delay is less than 2-3 seconds for a perfectly clear HD image.

I also added a DVR to the Wally inside my Vegas. That way I can record or pause live TV.

We Boon-Dock alot, and sometimes we don't get good Cell reception (for streaming Data). That's one reason why I love having satellite TV service.

As any owner of a 2014-2017 Vegas/Axis knows, there is no exterior propane connection for portable BBQ. That is, the 2018-present have the exterior propane connection as a standard feature but the older models do not.

So I decided that I needed one for my recent Blackstone griddle purchase.

I placed a splitter under the stove-top and then ran a hose thru the floor, then out the side.

Here’s the final install with a photo of the Blackstone hose with Quick-Connect fittings.

It was a challenge sourcing the proper fittings for this project, including the cover plate that's actually for a 30amp cord.

It works great with no leaks.

I'm using the same 30amp plug cover for my shore water hose reel project.

Hiya Bob, that was well executed. It looks great! Would you mind linking in your sources for the hardware, I love a short cut! TIA

It is beautifully done. Better than the way I did it, but mine is simpler. Since the propane tank compartment is open on the bottom I just put the fitting at the tank and run the hose under the side.

Start with a T under the stove top (remove both drawers)

https://smile.amazon.com/GreatDealSu...opane+t&sr=8-4

Then a 3/8” propane hose (4-6’) thru the floor where you want to go out the side
https://smile.amazon.com/DOZYANT-Fee...8765459&sr=8-8

Then the plastic housing & cover (I placed a plastic 6”x6” box behind the cover for waterproof protection)
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07...b_b_asin_title

Finally miscellaneous propane connection parts and fittings at Ace Hardware, Loews, HomeDepot to quick connect, and your particular BBQ fitting.
This final exercise was the most difficult, many trips to Hardware store and Amazon orders to get it correct.

That looks great. Mine isn't as convenient but it works. Installed an extend a stay that also has a propane quick connect. I just run the hose out the bottom of the compartment and under the rig.
