Anyway... I just got back from an outing and there was plenty of wind for comparison! It was surprisingly a pleasure to drive! Night & Day difference. So nicely connected to the road I'm done thinking about further handling mods because the wild ride is gone!

I have installed a Sade-T-Plus and am fairly satisfied with it but still have play in my steering wheel and feel the trucks going by. Can I (or should I) put a Trac-Bar on as well?

I'm still quite happy with how mine is handling with just a trac-bar and alignment. Tail wag is slightly different than play in the steering wheel though they both can cause constant correction. Forces steering the coach from the rear was what I felt to be my worst handling characteristic. I feel the slight increase in caster helped with lack of center and return to center. The combination sort of felt like play in the steering prior to making those 2 changes.
For play in the steering, years ago, I adjusted lash on a couple previous steering gear boxes. By memory it's a slotted head bolt with a lock nut though I've not looked at my Axis to see what that adjustment looks like now.
Since I don't know what's really going on with your rig, I'd hate to say a Trac-Bar would fix the handling you're experiencing. I do however think that a panhard/trac-bar should be factory installed, at least on RV's that roll down the road at max chassis weights. To me, stopping lateral shift is all good ...
My former jeepTJ's trac-bar developed mushy bushings after a few years and handled like new again after just those 2 bushings were replaced. For sure it's not an RV but it was yet another experience that showed me how lateral shift can effect handling.

Just purchased a Vegas 24.1. It seems to wander on the road. Have seen ads for steering controls. Has anyone installed one and what was the results?

Did you get an alignment? If the dealer didn't you should (and have them pay for it). Find a local truck shop and get the front end aligned.

The Safe-T-Plus and an alignment took care of my 24,1 issues. I am quite pleased with the handling now.

Burt, you need to get the Fixed position Caster bushing replaced with the adjustable type bushing. This change will allow the Caster angle to be increased to remedy the wandering issue you are experiencing. I had it changed and it made a huge difference in the handling even without any other changes to the suspension. I am going to add a Steering Reflex Satbilizer, increase the size of front and rear Sway Bars and add a rear Track Bar.

Axis/Vegas 25.1 Shower Door
I replaced the shower curtain with this door:
The door rolls into the cassette. The material is similar to a flexible cutting board.
Here's the website: SHUB White 36w (max) X 62h - SHUB White - Newline International

If you look at this picture:
The material I got is essentially the same thing that is on there so I just doubled it up; covering the existing material with the same stuff. What I should have done is take the remaining material and cover the inside of the doghouse doubling that up as well. (See the top and sides under the dash in this picture.)

Jamie,
May I ask what material you used to do the installation job?
Thanks!

TORNADO BLACK TANK FLUSH (Jamie I had it installed in the back of the tank with filler connection mounted inside of compartment. I'll send PIC's)
FATMAT ADDED TO DOGHOUSE. THEY ACTUALLY ADDED TO LAYERS. MORE INSULATION TO DO "A" BEAMS AND WINDSHIELD PILLARS
ADDED OXIGENICS SHOWER HEAD
ADDED HDMI SPLITTER TO RUN HDMI CABLE FROM SATELITE TO OUTSIDE TV
ADDED STS TPMS. JUST DONT HAVE THE PATIENCE TO DEAL WITH PROCESSES LIKE THIS. MY BAD!!
I have a few more mods to do but have to get the unit back to CW to fix a dent that put in it while it was there for 7 weeks and do some comeback work on my grey tank monitor. Originally black and grey tank monitor lights were switched. CW repaired that issue, but when they returned the unit the grey tank monitor always reads 2/3 full. Guess they are not much on quality control.

Tom,
I'd like to see pictures of the Tornado Black Tank Flush, if you still have them handy. Thanks!

Bruce,
You still like your shower curtain modification? At 6ft and 200lbs the shower curtain keeps attacking me when I turn my back on it. DW at 101lbs and 4ft 11in has no problem! May be another reason to diet!

Mike -- we removed the OEM curtain & liner. We hung a new liner that was lighter in weight. My wife also doubled it over in the center so the curtain was exactly as long as the upper track was long. She hung the liner so that the holes where she doubled it over aligned with the wheeled hangers. We did not rehang the vurtain, only the new liner. Then we put two strips of vecro on the wall by the toilet and two on the vanity side. Added velcro on yhe liner to attach to the wall strips. The liner no longer sticks to our bodies when we shower -- separately of course!!!!

Ours doesn't. The steering wheel gets in the way and thus it turns about 100 degrees.

Jamie is correct. The steering wheel blocks full rotation.

Dining table 25.2
Vegas 25.2 Replaced the large table with two smaller one to add a little flexibility.
Also added a shelf to the Cabinet above the sink.

Tom,
I have the parts for the Tornado Flush. Do you happen to have photos of your installation?
Thanks
