Thanks
Thanks to the community for the info about the Peerless faucet and the pull bar for the screen door. The faucet was more work than I thought, but well worth the effort. The pull was what I was looking for, thanks.

Quick question for Val -
How are you towing your Taco?
My biggest issue with our Axis is that I can't tow mine!
My apologies if the question has already been answered. I haven't been here for a while and haven't read all of the replies.
Regards,
Randy

new Faucet & Shower Head etc.
Say what you will, and feel due to personal experience
regarding Camping World...
Today, while waiting for our new windshield install to be completed, we
made a short trip to CW of Grain Valley, MO (East Kansas City) ..
I had been lobbying for the new single handle faucet for the bathroom and an improved shower head (Oxygenics) ..
CW is having a GREAT SALE. !
Got a great deal on both items, and 2 vent covers...plus one roll of the foil reflective material...and one of those nifty plastic things which keep the refrigerator doors from closing. (if you decide to make any of the purchases wanting the online catalogue price, you must tell CW at checkout)
Picked up the motorhome and headed home...HAPPY CAMPERS !!

Jacks update
Just got off the phone with the guys putting our jacks on (BAL scissor jacks). They couldn't fit them where I wanted (in front of the rear axles) because the jacks would interfere with the exhaust (couldn't fully retract them).
Instead our DIY sewer storage (2nd post in this thread LOL) will be moved forward to make room for the jacks on the back--about the same spot penguin has his. I'm having them angled a little bit (like a V) to add a little more sideways stability.
He also told me that there is a really easy spot in front of the front wheels to put another set of jacks if we want ones on all 4 corners. May have to think about that after this weekend.

Valterra Universal RV Stabilizer
Good Day, Folks,
We’re looking at leveling and stabilizing etc. for our Axis 25.2. Currently we’re using a couple of sets of FasTen Heavy-Duty Leveling Blocks for leveling. So, given there is s difference between “leveling” and “walk around stability,” We’re thinking maybe adding one or two of the Valterra Universal RV Stabilizers.
http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/universal-rv-stabilizer/34337
We’re thinking this may be a less expensive option for us till we choose to add either scissor or hydraulic jacks.
Does anyone have any experience with this Valterra Universal RV Stabilizer product and does it fit under an Axis / Vegas configuration wrt ground clearance.
Thanks
James.

From my experience on our 24.1 and penguin's pictures of his 25.2: If you haven't done any mods underneath the rear there is plenty of room back there for something like this. That would work with our DIY sewer storage being in place as that really doesn't take up that much room (the stabilizer).
Looking at how that is mounted/designed I would imagine that it provides a lot of left/right stability but very little front/back.

See post #759. Just go out and buy a set of scissor stabilizers. They are inexpensive, around $60 and can hold up to 5000 lbs. After leveling the coach with the traditional leveling pads, I can deploy the stabilizer jacks and give them a couple of additional turns and fine tune the leveling process. Sorry Jamie I meant to quote post #786

shower curtain rod modifications

Today she tried to put the same setup into our master bath shower at home. I now have a hole in the drywall ceiling to patch. Oops.
I'll get a pic of the shelf I added to the RV bathroom for storage while camping.

I have not found a thread for this topic. Has anyone tried installing a shower curtain rod extender or some manner of mod to make the shower a tad bigger? We are going to replace the flimsy original curtain with a heavier one to make it less clingy but in a perfect world would like to extend it out, even an inch or two would make a difference. Looking at the replacement curtain rods that extend it does not look like there is enough room in the Axis 24.1 to mount them Any ideas?

Belfast,
Search for "Shower Rod 2016 Axis 24.1" this Forum. There may be a second thread too. Several of us have gone to "The Arc" shower curtain modification.

I have a 2015 model Axis. Is the ARC an after market item?

Looking at the ARC on Amazon it looks like it needs more room to install than is available on the 2015 Axis. Has anyone installed this item on a 2015?

Yes it is, I got mine for my little 24" X 24" corner shower. However, it came out as standard on the later model 2016's. I saw my first one here on the Forum in an Axis 24.1.
If you check all the posts in the thread listed above you will see some other pictures that show the space increase. In the attachments below I left the old shower curtain on to see the increase in space.

The ARC Shower Rod came standard on our late model 2016 Axis.
Like Doc said...he installed it without a problem...and I think there are
others who have the 2015 models who have done the same.
The ARC does give a person a decent shower area...in additon,
we have replaced the shower head with an Oxygenics water saver head & hose, which gives a much stronger flow of water....and a lever water faucet in the bathroom sink to prevent water around and behind the sink when using.
After market items which make the experience that much better.
CW has a big sale on these items right now..not sure about the ARC...
**I am not a salesperson for CW nor am I affiliated with them**
just like good deals !!

I also put the ARC in. Note that if you get it from Amazon it will be far too long and you'll have to trim at least 8" off of it--otherwise the shower curtain will hang out over the toilet!
You can see my attempts at installing the ARC here:

Jacks update 2
Just picked up the camper for this weekend. Turns out that they had just parked it finishing up with the jacks. When I talked to them about the jacks they mentioned they did the same thing to the other Axis in the lot and put all 4 jacks on (this is how they knew of the really easy spot to put the front jacks). He also said that for the rear jacks on the other Axis they just aligned them along with the frame (exactly like penguin has his mounted). Since I wanted them on an angle to each other mine actually worked out better because they could poke the end of the jack out next to the hitch--far easier to get to:
I am very happy with this installation:
They didn't have to move the DIY sewer hose carrier that far at all to get these to fit.
You can see in this image how they are slightly angled to each other--hopefully this provides some left/right stability.
Finally, about those front jacks, here is a pic of the other Axis in the lot's front jacks:
Mounted right behind the front bumper--can't even tell they are there unless you go looking. You can get the crank handle in through the wheelwell. When we get back from camping this weekend I think I'll pick up another set for the front (jumping around in the camper in the driveway the rear is all snug and doesn't move but you can feel the front moving around).

sumo sumo sumo
Added front Sumo Springs to the Axis!
Wow! What a dramatic difference in stability, even with the factory sway bar. It holds the front end very steady. No sway. No sag. No bottoming out!
Took about 30 minutes to install. Remove factory bump stop. Screw in the Sumo Spring. Done!
Will be testing the rear Sumo Springs in a few days.
Tinker onward

You might think about adding them to the rear also. I added them to the rear about two weeks ago and noticed a dramatic difference. I was debating about adding them to the front but after reading your post I will be ordering them tomorrow.

Did you add the Sumo Solo to the rear? SSR-107-54?
