Axxera Multimedia center

On my Thor 24.1, this unit is difficult to see and use for anything other than a radio. I’d like to use it as a GPS screen but that won’t work for me.. Looking at the Jensen Car1000, it appears that the unit fills the Axxera hole and positions the screen up higher. It also appears to tilt back and forward. Wonder if it tilts side to side.. Does anyone agree with the visibility problem of the Axxera and feels that another option like the Jensen Car1000 addresses this?

I have a 2018 24.1 and I replaced the Axxera with the Dual unit. It’s the same unit as the Jensen, with a different GUI.

I’ve been very happy with it.

I did not. I heard they owned Jensen.

Correct, Dual (actually Namsung electronics) purchased Jensen in 2015.

Does the dual unit support your side view cameras and backup. Does it support satellite radio? Thanks

The side and rear cameras work perfectly. They’re much easier to see on the large screen.

It has NO built in satellite radio capabilities. However, it does a nice job of displaying Sirius from a phone through Bluetooth or, if connected, Apple CarPlay.

Agree completely the Axxera unit is very difficult to see and has virtually no adjustment. I threw my old Garmin in until I decide what's next.
