Axxera Turn Signal Mute Disable

So glad I found this post. Was super annoyed by the radio cutoff for turn signal. Saw other posts about people pulling the unit and detaching a wire of some sort. Just installed the update for my AVM80 and voila! Radio and turn camera!

Anyone have any luck lately getting to their site? It seems to have gone down a few days ago.

Well I just found out I have a Dual XDVD179BT with the same issue. So I reached out to them. These radios are really junk.

I had the zip file problem and Axxera emailed me the proper file. Doesn't cut out when turning now, but the blip as it returns to normal is annoying.

Blip when you return to normal? What you mean? I installed it but haven't moved just yet will be moving campgrounds tomorrow so will see how it goes. Thx

When the pic changes back from the side mirror camera to normal radio (whatever screen you had it on), the sound cuts out just for a momentary blip. It's still way better than no sound during turning.

Just updated my AVM72NAV a few minutes ago. I tried numerous times to unzip the folder and got an error message every time. My wife tried as well with no success. I’m not a computer guy, but I am a factory trained technician that very familiar with updating software in radios. I mentioned it to my neighbor who happens to be very tech savvy. Told him about my woes and how the damned turn signal shut off my music. He asked for the website and my model number. Fifteen minutes later he had a flash drive ready for me at my door. It worked! He mentioned that it was zipped twice. Regardless he figured it out and now I can change lanes while the music keeps playing.
