backup/side cameras no-op when Store switch is 'off"

on my 2018 24.1, I just noticed that the backup and side cameras only work when the Store switch is "on". Maybe this is the way it's supposed to work, but I didn't expect that. My coach doesn't have the BIRD - I've got the other style

The cameras might be on.
The use store switch controls the radios input power and thusly the monitor.
There're pictures and Info about a flip down overhead monitor for the cameras, in my thread linked below. I think I paid $64 each for the two.
I think there's a 17" one on amazon warehouse for 85 bucks.

Yup that is the way its supposed to work.

Why are you switching it off while driving anyway? With it off your house batteries won't charge off the alternator.

In general the switch should always be "on" unless you're parking it for an extended period of time unplugged.
