Bed side table top

How do you remove the top of the table on the bedside. I see there might be a void and wife has been complaining she has no outlets on her side of the bed but I cant figure out how to get the top off. Any ideas?

A picture here would help. Is there a drawer you can pull out under the top? That would give you access to that area.

I just took ours off. Square head screws, some staples.

Making room for 72" x 72" bed. I'll be putting my narrow cubby over on wife's side.

Okay, that does help. Getting that top off is only part of the project. Do you have power near there already?

Without removing the top, you could an oscillating multi tool to plunge cut a hole for an outlet and pull you wire to that. Or you could cut a bigger hole and make a panel.

Anybody who's actually done this care to comment?

Whatever you do in the rig: stays in the rig!

I would have to run power to it.

I am also looking to add USB charger ports to both sides of the bed. Just haven't dug into it to see how to do it.

Any access if you move the mattress out of the way?

Or, do you have overhead cabinets that might have 110 power? Our Vegas has an outlet in that cabinet for a DVD player. Maybe you could get power from that and drop a wire in the corner and cover with molding.
You can buy outlets with a USB port. That would be a perfect solution.
