Bedroom TV Questions

Has anyone installed a TV in the pocket that is provided in the bedroom? This is in a 2018 Thor Chateau 24F.
Was there enough supporting materials behind the paneling?
What size TV did you install?
Is the coax connection provided already hooked up to the cable hookup/antennae?
Looking forward to any information you can provide

Try spending some time with the "Search" feature on this forum. Sometime back, someone here mounted a tv by fitting a ply board inside that frame. Seems like it was at least a half inch thick. That gave them something solid to mount the TV to.

Good luck!

I posted this some time ago......it pertains to our Four Winds 24F, but may apply to your Chateau 24F as well....."All, I have found that there is a stud running vertically down the center of the bedroom TV wall recess. After you drill thru this you have about 3 1/2" of clearance to the outside wall of the shower. I mounted the 32" TV to this stud with 2 toggle bolts. Hope this helps others."
BTW, since then we have logged about 1500 miles on the RV and no problems with the rigidity of the TV mounting

Everything went well! There is a block of wood in the center 2/3rds of the TV pocket which you can attach the bracket to. 43'" TV fits just right.

For you maybe but the wife will need something to do for that 2 minute deviation if she doesn't fall asleep from boredom.

As defined by Wikipedia

In conventional usage, boredom is an emotional and occasionally psychological state experienced when an individual is left without anything in particular to do, is not interested in her surroundings, or feels that a given period is dull or tedious.

The walls on our lil' box on wheels are to thin. Wouldn't want to disturb the neighbors with all the noises!
