Have a 2015 Vegas. Have an old CB that I was wanting to install. But with the sate of art radio we have in the dash this standard CB isn't working. Was told I need a 24 volt and that the 12 volt isn't strong enough. If so is there a recommendation of a Cobra or Uniden brand to install.

Doubt it is a 24 volt issue. Almost everything is 12V, unless you have an illegal RF Power Amplifier that needs the additional power obtainable from 24V.

Maybe that the cb is out of date. Looking into the Cobra 18. It's what most Rv's use or even the Cobra 29
