No, Axis and Vegas are on E450 chassis (older 24.1s were on E250 chassis). Sure you didn't mean 25.2? Never heard of a 22.5.

Well, CHF, steering stabilizer, front sumo and 4 Koni shocks. All that's left is alignment, next week. I'll know how it handles this afternoon. It better be good.

Hmmm, still rides like a truck but the sway is gone and the steering stabilizer makes it a lot friendlier staying in lanes. Came home in the I-10 and Jerry will probably know what the trick lanes feel like. It's definitely better handling. Now the alignment and we're ready for the central coast and bay area for a couple of months.

Well, it IS a truck. And it has a truck engine and running gear. The things you have done certainly have their value but there’s no getting around that it’s a big, top heavy truck. You’ll get used to it. And look at it this way, after a long RV trip, when you get back in your daily driver your going to love the way it handles!

I know, this is our 5th motorhome and with the exception of a diesel pusher they all ride like trucks. I'll get used to this one too. I made the changes to enhance handling on long trips. We still love the coach with the modifications we've made and hopefully this one will be around for awhile.

Chased it around a bit but finally got most done. I'll call alignment tomorrow, get it washed and loaded and we're off for a couple of months. Thanks for the advice, hope we get to meet up sometime.

We're leaving on the 28th. We usually head to the coast for the summer, gets us out of the heat for a couple of months.

Good leave the door key by the mail box we'll be out to clean out the house.
We don't post departures date or arrival date on the net, Just in case some one is looking.
It's obvious enough when we are gone the motorhome is hard to miss

That's good information and I'm usually pretty careful about it. Our coach is in storage so it's not going to be noticed here. We have a pretty good network of neighbors who keep an eye on the house

On this forum I don't care about posting info about trip dates. I don't do it on Facebook
Very few people on the forum know where I live. Whittier is a big city good luck finding my house
With my alarm, camera system, and all my neighbors I'm not worried about it

I want to meet Papamo, Kent, for lunch in a week or so. He lives in your area. Maybe you can join us
I'll talk to him soon and let you know. That's if you interested. Maybe even this Saturday Maria's out of town so good time for me to get away

I have not even done the CHF to ours and I think its doggone easy to drive. I'd love to drive someone else's 34j that is tricked out to see what the difference is.

Our 29M has been a pleasure to drive, but I went ahead and did the CHF. If I can lessen the roll/sway it can only be a good thing.

Our 35M was a challenge on curves, passing trunks and high wind. I did the CHF, steering stabilizer, shocks and front sumo. I noticed on the drive home the steering improved and passing trucks weren't a problem. Monday is alignment and fill up for the upcoming summer trip. I
noticed an improvement inflating the tires to reccomend pressure before any of the other improvements.

I've done the CHF frt and rear, Steering stabilzer, rear trac bar. They all helped in the drivability of the coach.
I had been experiencing a pounding in the steering wheel when hitting the small pot holes and seams in the concrete roads. I dropped the tire pressure to 106 from the 120 max on the tire. This really helped the pounding . I don't think the pressure drop will hurt the tires over their short life time. time will tell

I found the reccomend tire pressure on a tag inside my coach that recommended 95 psi front and rear and when I set it to that pressure I found it improve ride and handling. That may very on your load but it worked on my Hurricane 35M.
