I am new to this forum, just bought a Thor 22e 2014 with 900 miles. Does my RV have any kind of levelers? I did not see any looking underneath. If I don’t have any , should I get some

No. Or, at least it did not come with any. Typically your coach is leveled by driving onto wood or plastic pads as needed. It’s rather a pain but it how most entry level class C’s are made.

Having levelers installed is a matter of personal preference and $$.
For us, we justified the $$ by the convenience of pulling/backing into a campsite, pushing a button and have the camper leveled without messing with ramps or blocks.
I can be level w/slides out within 5 min of getting to the campsite.

Welcome to the Forum, and congratulations on your next great adventure!
The question of adding a leveling system is a combination of personal preference, and your pocketbook...
I have Equalizers on mine, and they work really well.
But the Bigfoot systems are also pretty popular.

As others have said levelers are a matter of preference on a small rig. We had a class c without them for over 5 years and when we arrived at a site I put a small spirit level on the floor and then leveled the coach in a minute or two minutes by using the lego leveling blocks. On that rig we did have two stabilizer (scissor) jacks in the rear and one in the front that kept the coach from rocking as folks were walking sound or during heavy wind events. I would raise and lower them with a cordless drill. All this got to be second nature after the first few trips.

Enjoy the journey.

But you've got to admit: it's pretty nice to just have to push a single button...

Yep, especially when it’s raining.

I had The Equalizers installed on my 2018 Class C Thor Siesta. They work great.

But...to the OP, if this is your first rig you might want to hold off on such a major upgrade for a while. You might find, as many of us did, that your first coach doesn’t really meet your needs and you could end up replacing it after a short while. Good luck learning and enjoying your travels.

I agree with Pete. This was my 2nd motor home and I did not have the hydraulic leveler system but wanted it on the 1st one. I held off until we traded it in for our current motor home 2 years later and had them installed.

You’re lucky...it took me three tries to get the right coach!

My wife likes the size and ease of handling. She feels ok if she drives it since it handles like a big van. Maybe down the road a class would be our pick. For the next several years we will be travelling in it and enjoying the sights.

We got auto system installed at big foot. After installing I would recommend to go for manual system. As everyone said it needs calibration all the time. After having auto magic system, I still use manual feature on that. No auto level. It raises the coach even not needed.

The vehicle's VIN number should be on the vehicle dash on the driver's side (lower left dash on the inside). You should be able to see it from the outside looking inside. It is required of all vehicles to have a VIN(vehicle identification number). As far as motor home number/model, you should have a listing of all of the serial numbers/models of systems used in your build by Thor stuck on a wall usually inside a closet on the wall.

In addition to the Ford VIN there will be a Thor unit number. You should be able to find both on the yellow sticker on the inside cab wall behind the driver or on your owners documents from Thor. Mine has a duplicate yellow sticker on the passenger footwell/door jamb. If all else fails you can get it from Thor by giving them your VIN.

We just put ours (2016 Prime), on a 12' Aluma utility trailer.
If it's a 2016 or newer: you can tow them four-down. We chose to take the strain off of all of it's moving parts.
