Class c passenger seat swivel mod

Hi I have a 21 chateau on a Chevy chassis. How do I go about making the seat rotate or swivel? Has anyone modified theirs? Thanks

I imagine it would be easier to just buy a swiveling seat base...

There is an older YouTube video of a guy that installed a swivel seat base on a ford F350 cab that worked. You will need the seat swivel base to replace the stock seat base that does not swivel.

Will the dividing wall between the cab and the cabin be in the way when you swivel the seat?

If you do this you may also need to extend the seat belt warning light wire to give some slack when the seat rotates.

I ordered one from here
https://www.discountvantruck.com/rvs...es/rvbases.htm
pretty easy install.
In my 2013 E-450 model it takes a little shuffling to get it spun around.....hits the door and dash, so it's a series of slide forward rotate a bit, then tilt, the more, etc...
But I am very glad I did it!

I think I had to buy a special Torx socket
