Clear Ceramic Tint on windshield?

I have read lots of good things about applying clear ceramic tint on the windshield for stopping much of the heat gain.

Has anyone done this and are you happy with it? It's pricy (around $800).

What did you do about the inspection sticker and toll tag transponder?

I had some coating applied to the windshield of my Lincoln MKZ. It didn’t advertise heat reduction but rather protection against road debris and it worked for that aspect. The also guaranteed against rock damage for life.

I have been putting Llumar clear tint on my car windshields for many years. Llumar has a lifetime warranty.

It does reduce the heat from the direct sunlight.

I will consider it for my new coach but will be expensive due to the size of the windshield.
