Close off the Squirrel Hatch

This mod has moved up the priority list when a squirrel got inside the hatch.

Thor installed a sewer hose access cover for routing the 50 Amp cable out of the storage compartment.



Since the bottom of this compartment is not smooth I need either remove this access cover, cover the existing opening and then cut a hole for the new access cover.

This is the new cover I want to install.



At the same time I do this I want to install a cable support to relieve some of the stress off the 50 Amp cable connection inside the compartment.

If anyone has done something similar your thoughts and experience would be appreciated.

Instead of installing the small cable hatch, while looking through an RV dealers parts catalog I came across the number for the large cable hatch.

I'll have to take some measurements to make sure the hole diameter is the same and if it is instead of ordering through Amazon I'll go to the dealer because it is 1.00 cheaper, no shipping and I get a repeat customer discount off the already lower price.
