Corian

Hi all,

I have an ACE 27.2. Have a couple of cracks in the laminate in the bedroom, but mainly would like to replace the chinchy laminate with Corian or something similar. Has anybody done this? Also still trying to replace the couch with recliners, but not enough space with the outside TV. Hoping someone has done either/or.

Best, Rich

Anything is possible but take into consideration the weight difference and what that does to CCC. A cabinet shop could cut/shape the corian to your specifications and maybe even a recessed molded in sink.

DuPont Corian is cut with quality woodworking tool blades, no special equipment required. It is less then 1/4 the weight of granite stone. Corian is twice the weight of laminated hardwood.

Had it also in the Itasca, durable and nice. I have pretend-a-corian now.

It's like Rodney Dangerfield trying to impersonate Steve McQueen.

Now that is a great description of it! How would you describe the dinette table top?

Since the patent ran out on Corian, everyone makes something like it now.
