Will my standard shower head combo function in the RV?

Obviously id od of the pipe would effect fit and pressure

If your question is will a standard shower head work, the answer is yes...but maybe not well. I agree with the Oxygenics. I just changed mine to that and my wife loves the apparent increase of pressure.

No experience with that one...we do know that the model of which I posted the photo is recommended by RV dealers...it is a low pressure head..with shutoff on the handle .. it seems to be the one most of us have used as the upgrade

Like is pressure low in rv so need small bore tubing to get pressure up or why regular heads won't work

You already have a whole rv full of "small bore tubing" so 5 or 6" more inches won't make much difference, but the Oxygenics head is definitely the only one to replace with.
If you have one of these, toss it out with the original shower head. This reduces pressure by restricting the flow.

And get one of these along with the Oxygenics head.

Travelin Texan has good info for you .. Ron has the restrictor on our hose..and it is compatible with the Oxygenics .. matter of opinion and personal preference...we have seen many of both devices.

OK cool so a restriction which slows flow but replace with one that lowers diameter?
Then that should make any shower nozzle head have more pressure but not restrict flow rate ?!
IDK I like the eight function I have at home but the tubing is larger diameter as is the handle apparently

I also have at home the shutoff on the handle one.

So oxygwnitjcs brand apparent hs increased pressure but wouldn't then any work? Are rv so low pressure?

No dumb questions... ask away.

Its a variable water regulator with gauge - and would go between the water supply and your RV...
While there shouldn't be issues with city water supplies - those facilities with wells can have greatly varying pressure - including spikes that your RV plumbing may not like. The regulator protects your RV plumbing (and anything else that would get wet if a pipe burst...)

I place mine at the RV connection - protecting all but the supply hose. I used to put it at the campground fitting - but after 'donating' one to the next camper - I find attached to the RV harder to leave behind... And any failure of the supply hose would be outside the RV.

The 'cheaper' versions tend to over restrict - either initially or after some time.

(The Oxygenics showerhead is the best and easiest 'creature comfort' mod I've done in the RV.)

So as suspected the pressure in rv needs To be low in pipes systemically
The small bore increased oxygenetics increases pressure at the point of service instead of systemically

Getting sidetracked....
Pressure in RV is either campground pressure ( hose- limited by the regulator shown to +- 50psi) or by your internal water pump to 45-50psi. Almost any showerhead will work. The Oxygenics adds air to the water flow, actually passes less water but is more effective as a shower. Other shower heads pass more water, fill your holding tanks quicker which may not be desirable if you are not connected to a dump station.
Another advantage to the Oxygenics is it has a shutoff valve built into the handle, again to conserve water between lather and rinse. (sea-shower) Separate in-line shutoff valves are available.

Unless your want to re-plumb the shower -your shower head and hose will have to match the diverter valve fitting.
