Dinky sounding Horn

I have a 2018 Miramar 35.3 and the horn sound ridiculous. Does anybody know of a quick change that you can just unplug the old one and plug in a new one to sound much louder. Thanks

There are lots of horns available at an auto parts store or online. You might be able to get a louder one but perhaps not by an order of magnitude that you are looking for. For real volume you probably need to purchase a better horn/horns and rewire with a relay directly to the battery. If you only dislike the tone of your horn and not the volume you have more options.

Go to Amazon.

Search for Air Horn Kit.

Pick one that includes the pump and relay. Horn button is not necessary.

Install the kit on your MH using the existing horn 12 VDC as the relay trigger.

Something like:

Horns usually have two speakers that are out of tune with each other; that way it attracts attention. One of yours may not be working. Try tapping it with a hammer to see if the reed is stuck, and check the electrical connections.

Great horn. I had a Stebel Nautilus on my motorcycle over a decade and put the truck horn one on my Ram. The truck one just has a deeper note. I tied it into the horns circuit. Now when I honk people go right back into their lane.

I put one of those on my motorcycle as well. It ALWAYS made me jump when I honked it even though I knew full well how loud it was. Worked like a champ though.

I miss my DP air horns. They got attention if needed.

Mine already quit. Put new one and it still sounds like a 1970 subaru.

Cool

A guy in our neighborhood has an actual train horn mounted in the bed of his truck. When he triggers it, you'd swear Amtrak is coming through your living room. Fortunately, he only uses it when absolutely needed.

I wonder if one would fit in that big open area behind my grille? Hmmmmm...
