Does Your Dog Hate Your Theater Seats?

We have a 2018 Siesta 24ST with the optional theater seats instead of the standard sofa. We like the reclining feature, but our dog HATES them, because she is used to sitting between me and my wife on the couch at home, and the center console makes it impossible.

A happy dog makes for happy travel, so I removed the console (held in only by 2 screws), and used wood, plywood, foam, and vinyl fabric to construct a lower center console. Before and after pictures enclosed.

The dog is happy, and the seats will still recline.
