Cool

Do you have any idea what went wrong or how to get some of the sticky backing off the paint without ruing it

I installed the eze RV gutter on my Siesta about 2 years ago, no problems with adhering. Water from the Ac would drip at the front edge of the awning, over the entry door. I gradually angled the gutter and terminated with a gutter extension, Used plastic paint to match the roof edge.

The same material, EZE RV Gutter, I bought mine from local RV dealer, sold by the foot and I think a little cheaper. I painted tan to match roof edge until it was behind awning arm. Easy to install.

What did you paint it with. (Obviously spray paint but did you use special plastic kind or just regular?) Is the paint holding up well? Found it for about $2 a foot and ordered some to give it a try.

Duplicolor vinyl and fabric paint- auto parts -- over a year and still looks good.

I tried krylon for plastic and it was a total disaster! Gutter still tacky to the touch after several days. The right paint makes a difference.

On our former 41 foot DP, somehow the AC drip always was under the coach, never down the sides. Guess I didn't appreciate that enough, as now with the Gemini, it drips and runs down wherever. It depends on how it leveled, of course, once this past summer, you could not get in or out of the motor home, without getting wet. Very annoying. Since I am having an HWH leveling system installed, maybe I can have a little better control of where it will drip, I hope.

I definitely have to recommend the EZE gutter. Expensive but well worth it. Seems no matter where I parked the AC runoff always dripped right down in front of the drivers door. Installed EZE gutter and problem(s) solved. Run off is easily channeled away from the coach with gutter extensions. Definitely worth the money and effort.
